View the customer's Recent Transactions log

If you would like to check the status of other orders for the customer, you can do so easily with the Recent Transactions screen on the Customer Service tab. The Recent Transactions screen can also serve as a log of every contact that individuals in your organization have made with that customer. So, at a glance, you can see, for example, that a customer service rep followed up with that customer on a credit return problem, and a sales rep contacted the customer regarding a recent promotion.

To view the customer's Recent Transactions log

  1. Select the customer on the Customer Profile screen or the Current Order screen if you have not already done so. (For instructions on how to do this, please refer to Select a customer.)

  2. On the Customer Service tab, click the Recent Transactions button. The Recent Transactions screen appears, and the Recent Transactions log at the bottom of the screen lists the transactions that have occurred.

  3. Click a row in the Recent Transactions log to view more information about it.

  4. If you would like to view or edit the order, right-click the corresponding row in the log and select View or Edit on the shortcut menu.
