Look up a customer's on account payments

The Recent Transactions screen on the Customer Service tab enables you to look up on account payments for a customer. AR Inquiry screen displays information about on account payments.

To look up a customer's on account payments

  1. Select the customer on the Customer Profile screen or the Current Order screen if you have not already done so. (For instructions on how to do this, please refer to Select a customer.)

  2. On the Customer Service tab, click the Recent Transactions button. The Recent Transactions screen appears, and the Recent Transactions log at the bottom of the screen lists the transactions that have occurred.

  3. Click a row in the Recent Transactions log to view more information about it. If a transaction is an on account payment, A/R is listed in the Type column and On Account is listed in the Invoice column.

  4. If you would like to view the accounts receivable record, right-click the corresponding row in the log and select View on the shortcut menu. The accounts receivable record is displayed on the AR Inquiry screen.
