If the UPC Not On File error is included on the Receive by Shipment Errors Report, it indicates that the system does not recognize the UPC that was scanned during the Receive by Shipment process because the UPC is not associated with any product in your system. UPCs are associated with a product on the UOM screen of the Product Management tab.
To correct this error, add the UPC to the appropriate global product record on the UOM screen of the Product Management tab. For more information, refer to Set up units of measure for a product.
If the UPC is for a product that should supersede a different product, check to make sure that it has been set up correctly in your system. For more information, refer to Specify a superseding product.
