UPS uses tracking numbers to identify and trace every shipment as it moves from one location to another. Each of your shipments sent by UPS is automatically assigned a tracking number. You or your customer can enter this number at the UPS web site to track, locate, and verify the arrival of your shipment.
The Order Inquiry screen on the Customer Service tab indicates the UPS tracking number of a customer release if the release is being shipped by UPS to the customer.
Note: To use the UPS tracking number identification feature with Vision, you must perform some maintenance. For more information, refer to Set up UPS shipment tracking for a warehouse and Overview of UPS shipment tracking.
On the Customer Service tab, click the Order Inquiry button. The Order Inquiry screen appears.
In the Order or Release field, type the release number.
Click the Search button. Details about the order are shown.
Click the Order Activity tab.

To determine the tracking number of the release, Find the line item on the Order Activity tab that has Order Tracking in the Activity column. The number displayed in the Information column for that same row is the tracking number of the UPS shipment.
