Pricing Inquiry

Descriptions of the fields and buttons on the Pricing Inquiry screen of the Pricing tab are provided in the following table.

Note: To access the Pricing Inquiry screen, you must have the proper security privileges. The Pricing Maintenance job function needs to be assigned to one of your roles. Roles are assigned to users in the User Maintenance on the Security Maintenance screen of the Vision Configuration tab. For more information, refer to About roles and job functions.

Field or button

Description

Product

Type one of the following in this field: the product number, or part of it; or the product description, or part of it.

Search

Click this button to search for the product.

Options

Click this button to select search options for product searches.

Hide

Click this button to hide the search options.

Search Filters

To fine-tune your search, you can specify a particular warehouse, manufacturer, product class, product type, and ABC code.

Product Information

Part/Product #

This is the external part or product number.

Description

Twenty-five characters of the product description appear in this field.

Manufacturer

This is the product's manufacturer.

Product Class

This is the product classification.

Product Type

This is the type of product.

Warehouse Information

ABC Code

This code indicates how fast the product sells in this warehouse.

Stock Type

This indicates whether the product is a stock item, a non-stock item, a special item, or a temporary item.

Current Pricing

Price Level

This column identifies each of the price levels that having pricing currently associated with this product.

Price

This column indicates the price that corresponds with each price level.

Replacement Cost

This is the purchase order cost.

Future Pricing

Price Level

This column identifies each of the price levels that having future pricing updates associated with this product.

Price

This column indicates the price that corresponds with each future price level update.

Effective Date

This is the date that the price level pricing becomes effective. The pricing is updated during End-of-Day processing on this date.

UOMs

UOM

This column shows the valid units of measure for the product.

Mult

This is the quantity multiple, which refers to the number of items that encompasses this unit of measure. Following are some examples of units of measure with their corresponding quantity multiples.

List Price

This column shows the unit list price of the product.

Whse Stock

Whse

This is the warehouse number.

Name

This is the name of the warehouse.

Stock Type

This indicates whether the product is a stock item, a non-stock item, a special item, or a temporary item.

Available

This indicates how many products are available from the warehouse.

ABC Code

This code indicates how fast the product sells in this warehouse.

Vendors

Vendor

This is the vendor number.

Name

This is the name of the vendor.

UOM

This column shows the valid units of measure for the product from this vendor.

Cost

This column shows the vendor's cost per unit.
