The Recent Transactions screen on the Customer Service tab is where you can void credit memos and invoices if you have the proper security privileges.
Note: To void a credit memo or picker, you must have the proper security privileges. To void a credit memo, the C/M Void job function needs to be assigned to one of your roles. To void an invoice, the Invoice Void job function needs to be assigned to one of your roles. Roles are assigned to users in the User Maintenance on the Security Maintenance screen of the Vision Configuration tab. For more information, refer to About roles and job functions.
On the Customer Service tab, click the Recent Transactions button. The Recent Transactions screen appears.
In the Specific Transaction field, type the order number or the release number.

To refine your search, you can conduct an advanced search by following a few other steps:
Click the Options button.
In the Search Filters area, select one or more of the options from the filter lists if you would like to narrow your search.
Click the Search button. The corresponding transactions are listed in the Recent Transactions log at the bottom of the screen.
Right-click the appropriate transaction — either a credit memo or an invoice — and on the shortcut menu, select Void.
Note: Void is available on the shortcut menu for the selected transaction only if the following conditions are met:
You have the proper security privileges for the void.
An A/R record exists for the release.
The release is a credit memo or an invoice.
The release has not already been voided.
A window appears, and it displays a message informing you that voids do not update on-hand quantities, but they do reverse book inventory and cost of sales.
If you would like to continue and void the credit memo or invoice, click the Yes button. The system will void the credit memo or invoice.
