Save or cancel changes to the CRM event settings

Any time you define or change the parameters for a CRM event on the Event screen of the CRM Maintenance tab, your changes are not saved to the database until you click Accept on the Event screen.

If you do not want to save the changes that you have made to the parameters of a CRM event, you can do so as long as you have not yet clicked Accept on the Event screen.

Note: To access the CRM Event tab, you must have the proper security privileges. The CRM job function needs to be assigned to one of your roles. Roles are assigned to users in the User Maintenance on the Security Maintenance screen of the Vision Configuration tab. For more information, refer to About roles and job functions.

To save the CRM event settings

  1. The event should be ready for saving.

  2. Click the Accept button.

  3. If the Active check box is selected, the CRM event will be launched at the appropriate time.

If the Active check box is cleared, the CRM event will not be launched.

To cancel the changes for the CRM event settings

  1. If you do not want to save the changes you have made to the parameters of a CRM event, click a different CRM event in the Event listing at the bottom of the screen. The system displays the Are you sure? warning message to make sure you do not want to save your changes. (Click Are you sure? pop-up window to see a sample.) The message indicates the event type whose parameters have changes that will be lost if you proceed selecting a different CRM event without first saving.

  2. Click Yes to proceed and ignore the changes.

Click No to save the changes.
