Activate or deactivate a CRM event

You can view the parameters of a CRM event on the Event screen of the CRM Management tab. You can also modify the parameters of those events. However, unless an event is flagged as "Active," the event will not be launched.

When you have defined the parameters of a CRM event and you are ready to launch it, you can flag the event as "Active." In addition, if you would like to stop processing of a CRM event, you can unflag it.

Note that several events have "Vision" as the trigger. Such events cannot be deactivated because they are part of core Vision processing.

Note: To access the CRM Event tab, you must have the proper security privileges. The CRM job function needs to be assigned to one of your roles. Roles are assigned to users in the User Maintenance on the Security Maintenance screen of the Vision Configuration tab. For more information, refer to About roles and job functions.

To activate or deactivate a CRM event

  1. Select the CRM event on the Event screen of the CRM Management tab if you have not already done so. (For instructions on how to do this, please refer to Select a CRM event.)

  2. To activate the event, select the Active check box.

To deactivate the event, clear the Active check box.
