ROP and LP Set to 1 |
Vision has a new setting for the Average Monthly Usage and Reorder Point Calculation . Now, there is a check box labelled Reorder Point/Linepoint Always Stock 1 . If you set this check box, then for every part that meets the criteria for the ROP model, the reorder point and linepoint will be set to one (1), even if the calculation results in zero (0). Checking the new box essentially disallows a zero result for the ROP/LP for the parts selected by the ROP model. You can use the new check box to ensure that at least one unit is always stocked for slow-moving parts.
